Investigators say 35-year-old Fany Rosa, of West Palm Beach, was driving a 2017 Toyota Corolla recklessly eastbound in the westbound lanes of Southern Boulevard around 6:06 a.m. when her car collided head-on with a 2019 Honda Insight driven by 36-year-old Corey Watson, of Lantana, who was traveling westbound as normal.
Both drivers suffered serious, life-threatening injuries in the impact and were rushed to a local hospital for treatment, deputies said. PBSO confirmed that alcohol or drugs were a factor for Rosa, and toxicology testing on her is pending.
Charges in the case are pending as the investigation continues. Next-of-kin for both drivers have been notified, according to the Sheriff’s Office…
