UPDATE #1 at 4:10 p.m. — Two people were injured. One lane is in the process of reopening right now. Expect all lanes to reopen shortly. However, it is likely that traffic issues will continue for another half hour or so as the build-up during the closure is — in a word — significant.
First responders are still arriving on the scene but BocaNewsNow.com has learned at least one person is injured. The issue — according to initial information — isn’t so much the injury but the number of vehicles involved and where they ended up in the crash.
