Yacht Rendezvous 2026: Mission Keeps Superyacht Owners Coming Back

A yacht hop gives owners and guests plenty to talk about. At the Yacht Rendezvous 2026, however, some of the most meaningful conversations will be with the children and teens whose futures the weekend helps support. Returning to Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale on November 6 and 7, the 37th-annual event benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. In our latest Megayacht News Minute, co-chairs Carla Taylor, Jessica Busacca, and Mike Busacca explain why those individual connections keep the superyacht community coming back.

Among the things ensuring the Yacht Rendezvous’ focus doesn’t get lost, Taylor says, club members participate all weekend. At the first night’s yacht hop, for example, they meet supporters and experience the yachts firsthand. Conversations can turn to goals about college and careers. During the following evening’s gala, the youth share their stories, giving attendees a deeper understanding of the lives their generosity touches.

Taylor’s connection is personal, too. Growing up in South Florida, she had friends who attended the clubs. Today, seeing children enjoying activities and using learning resources reinforces her commitment. So does the welcome they receive. “No child is ever turned away when they walk through that door,” Taylor says. “They always welcome them with open arms.”…
