The Women’s Club of Coconut Creek is seeking local food businesses to compete in its first annual Chili Cook-Off, an event supporting student scholarships and teacher grants.
The cook-off is planned for Saturday, Nov. 14, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Sabal Pines Park during the city’s Fall Harvest Festival.
Licensed and insured restaurants, food trucks and food-service businesses are invited to donate five gallons of chili and serve samples to festival guests. Participants can showcase their businesses and compete for community awards while supporting local education…
