SUNRISE, Fla. — One person is in custody following a robbery in Sunrise that led to a car crash early Friday morning in Parkland, authorities said.
According to Sunrise police, officers were called to the 3800 block of North University Drive at 2:19 a.m. in reference to an armed robbery involving a gun.
“Preliminary information indicates that the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, which subsequently crashed into a canal near the intersection of Loxahatchee Road and Nob Hill Road in the City of Parkland,” a spokesperson for Sunrise PD told Local 10 News in an email…
