WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A late-night ShotSpotter alert led police to a deadly shooting in West Palm Beach Saturday, where a victim was found critically wounded and later died.
Officers with the West Palm Beach Police Department were called to the 500 block of 15th Street around 10:20 p.m. after gunfire was detected in the area.
When officers arrived, they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
Police have not said whether a shooter has been identified or taken into custody, and the identity of the victim has not been released…
