WESTLAKE, Fla. (CBS12) — Buying a new home in western Palm Beach County could come with a financial boost under a new grant program aimed at helping more families afford homeownership.
The Westlake Community Foundation has launched the Westlake Affordable Housing Grant Program, an initiative providing $650,000 in financial assistance to help qualified buyers purchase a new home in the City of Westlake.
Eligible applicants may receive a one-time grant of up to $15,000 to help cover down payment or closing costs on a new home built in Westlake. Up to 43 grants will be awarded, with applications accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted…
