BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Transportation Department has acknowledged that newly painted lane markings on Interstate 84 westbound near the Idaho Center Boulevard exit left drivers confused last week, prompting a quick fix over Memorial Day weekend after reports of near-collisions.
Kristin Mason, a Nampa resident returning from a visit to her son in Montana, said she was driving westbound on I-84 when the lane configuration stopped making sense.
