BOISE COUNTY, Idaho (CBS2) — A camping violation investigation in the Grimes Creek area led to a drug arrest and the discovery of an outstanding warrant, according to the Boise County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 25, 2026, at about 9:40 a.m., the Boise County Sheriff’s Office and a U.S. Forest Service law enforcement officer were issuing a camping violation during which K9 Sage and K9 Roki were deployed and alerted on the campsite and vehicles.
Tyler Padilla, 34, of Cascade, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor violation of a county littering ordinance, the sheriff’s office said.
