MELBA — Throughout the long summer days, customers can be seen driving up to a small shed that sits off State Highway 45 to pick up their creamery goods. Whether it is an iced coffee, milkshake or a glass of milk to take home, the food items they buy are made with locally sourced products straight from the dairy that takes up their view.
Opened two years ago, Copper Cow Creamery arose through moments of uncertainty after its owners took a leap of faith. The Reece family created their local creamery shop to sell their fresh dairy products from their farm just up the road at Moo-Riah Dairy. They also take pride in teaching the community where their food comes from.
