A 30-acre vegetation fire is nearing containment after hours of firefighting efforts near Look Lane and Highway 26 at the Idaho Materials and Construction site in Caldwell.
Officials with the Caldwell Fire Department say that fire crews were able to protect multiple properties and prevent structure loss amidst challenging fuel conditions. As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, there have been no firefighter or civilian injuries reported, officials say.
