CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — An investigation led Caldwell police to arrest a 39-year-old man accused of trying to rob a business at knifepoint and threatening an employee.
On Tuesday, Caldwell Police arrested Alfonzo Hernandez Jr., 39, of Caldwell, in connection with an attempted robbery and aggravated assault that happened Monday at a business in the 400 block of Cleveland Boulevard.
Police said officers were called at about 5:54 p.m. June 22, to the Tobacco Connection at 410 Cleveland Blvd. after a report of an attempted armed robbery. Investigators said the suspect brandished a knife, threatened a female employee, and demanded money from the cash register.
