Ada County crews respond to roadway flooding, hazards as heavy rain, hail hit

ADA COUNTY, Idaho (CBS2) — Heavy rain and hail moving through Ada County is causing localized roadway flooding and other hazards, prompting the Ada County Highway District to send crews across the county to respond.

ACHD said crews are actively responding to reports using multiple Vactor trucks and other equipment, with employees working outside normal business hours to address storm-related issues as quickly and safely as possible.

Residents who encounter roadway hazards, including roadway flooding or downed trees blocking a roadway, are asked to report issues to Ada County Dispatch’s non-emergency line at (208) 377-6790…
