BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Ada County Coroner has identified the man who was found dead along the Boise River Greenbelt early Monday morning.
25-year-old Jordan Harbst was discovered along the side of the Greenbelt between 11th St. and the Pioneer Pathway. Responding officers found Harbst, but he was declared dead at the scene. The Ada County Coroner has classified the manner of death as homicide, consistent with information released by the Boise Police Department.
The cause of death, however, remains pending. Investigators closed that portion of the Greenbelt for the better part of Monday as they worked to collect evidence at the scene. A suspect has not been publicly identified by police, and why or how Harbst was killed is not clear. A statement released by investigators on Wednesday says that they are intentionally not releasing much information about the crime to “Protect the integrity of the investigation.”…
