Smoke from the Claremont Fire is impacting air quality across the Treasure Valley, leaving hazy skies over communities including Boise through Nampa.
According to the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, air quality remained in the moderate (yellow) category Wednesday. While conditions in the moderate range are generally acceptable for most people, some individuals may experience health effects, particularly those with asthma, other respiratory conditions or heart disease ” If you have underlying lung disease and if it’s in the yellow zone you need to be careful.” Say’s Dr. Palmer Asthma & Allery Physician.
