LINN COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) – A 37-year-old Idaho man is missing and believed to have fallen to his death while solo climbing Mount Jefferson on Friday, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
Shortly before noon on Friday, two climbers reported seeing another climber who wasn’t part of their group fall down the down the west side of the summit near the Red Saddle, then disappear from view into the Milk Creek drainage.
