Children’s Museum of Idaho names new executive director as founder prepares to retire

The Children’s Museum of Idaho has named Ada Page as its next executive director, succeeding Jan Lynch, who will retire after nearly eight years leading the Boise-based museum since it opened in December 2018.

Page joined the museum earlier this year as education director, bringing 30 years of experience in education and leadership. She will take over an organization that serves more than 100,000 children and family members annually in southwest Idaho and beyond.

“I am incredibly honored to lead this extraordinary organization,” Page said. “From the moment I joined the Children’s Museum of Idaho, I knew it was a special place. I look forward to building on that strong foundation and ensuring every child who walks through our doors feels welcomed, inspired and connected through the power of purposeful play.”…
