EMMETT, Idaho (CBS2) — Drivers on State Highway 16 should plan for significant overnight delays Tuesday as crews install bridge supports for a future overpass.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane and periodically stopped in both directions on SH-16 between Deep Canyon Drive and Valnova Drive from 8 p.m. Sept. 29 to 5 a.m. Sept. 30. The work is permitted by the Idaho Transportation Department.
During the operation, traffic will be temporarily stopped in both directions for up to 30 minutes at a time as crews set a total of six girders over SH-16. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible…
