Caldwell to consider large-scale project with homes, apartments & commercial space

The City of Caldwell has seen unprecedented growth over the past several years with new developments popping up all over the city — and now one of the latest, a large-scale mixed-use project on the south side of Usitck Road.

Trilogy Development has big plans for the 81-acre agricultural site just east of Indiana Avenue called Hoshaw Subdivision.

This project would bring single-family, multi-family, and commercial developments to the city — near three schools, the Caldwell YMCA, and other planned and existing residential projects.

WHAT’S PLANNED

The plans show 264 single-family homes in multiple styles and sizes, with lots ranging from 5,192 square feet to 14,420 square feet. The development team is planning a mix of townhomes and traditional single-family homes. The homes are located on the south and east sides of the development, while the townhomes would be clustered near the commercial space and multi-family units.

The 164 multi-family units are on the northwest corner of Hoshaw, spread across 41 fourplexes. The multi-family area would get its own set of amenities that include pickleball courts, a clubhouse, and a pool.
