Earlier this week, a troubling incident in Boise spotlighted a significant gap in animal safety laws. A dog tragically fell out of a moving pickup truck just east of the Ten Mile exit. Despite the accident, the truck owner continued driving, leaving the injured dog behind. Currently, this unfortunate canine is receiving care at the Idaho Humane Society.
