BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Drivers in Boise should prepare for traffic changes as construction begins Thursday, April 16. Shoreline Drive will be closed east and west of the intersection at Americana Boulevard, according to the Ada County Highway District (ACHD). American Boulevard will remain open for northbound and southbound traffic, but vehicles will not be able to turn onto Shoreline Drive from America. Access along Shoreline Drive will be limited to local traffic only between Fairview Avenue and Americana Boulevard, as well as between Americana and 13th Street.
ACHD says lane restrictions will also be in place on Americana Boulevard throughout the project. However, at least one lane in each direction will remain open. If you plan on heading out to the farmers market, drivers are encouraged to use River Street to 13th Street. The parking lot will remain accessible to vendors and customers.
