Boise-based Albertsons announced Tuesday it had reached a “settlement framework” to try to end a rash of lawsuits related to the sale of opioids by the grocery and pharmacy giant.
Albertsons said it would pay $774 million to “resolve substantially all of the opioid-related claims brought against the company” by state, local, and tribal governments.
