A Saturday ride on Boston Road ended in tragedy for a 23-year-old Billerica man, who died after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in front of a busy shopping plaza.
Investigators identified the rider as Anas Mahmadsadik Khalifa. He was pulled from the roadway in front of the Towne Shopping Plaza in the 700 block of Boston Road, then rushed to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, where he later died. First responders performed CPR at the scene while emergency crews worked to secure the crash site and keep traffic away.
What Authorities Say
According to the Lowell Sun, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said the crash happened when Khalifa’s motorcycle struck another vehicle on Boston Road on Saturday.
