For over two decades, a murdered teenager was known only to the world as “Chelsea Jane Doe.” On June 3, the FBI’s Boston Cold Case Team and local authorities announced a major breakthrough in the gruesome 2000 murder case, officially identifying the victim as 16-year-old Tiffany Bradley of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Bradley suffered a tragic fate. Investigators stated that the teenager was trafficked across state lines before being killed. Her body was decapitated, dismembered, and eventually dumped in the back of a parking lot on Crest Avenue in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
Authorities noted that her killer is already behind bars, but the true identity of the young victim remained unknown for 26 years.
