Southern New England is in for a gorgeous Sunday, a cool summer day with dry and sunny skies.
Highs reach the low to mid 80s inland, with cooler 70s along the coast thanks to a sea breeze.
Monday also starts cooler with lows in the mid 50s.
Most inland spots will see highs climb to the mid 80s while the coast stays seabreezing with highs in the upper 70s.
While next week starts dry, a wet stretch comes in for Tuesday through Thursday as several rounds of showers and thunderstorms move through the region.
It looks like this system will have plenty of rain with it, raising the risk for localized downpours and areas of flash flooding where storms repeatedly track over the same locations…
