One of the most popular Irish pubs in Boston has shut down after three decades and has applied to transfer its liquor license to another establishment.
Hennessy’s at 25 Union St. near Faneuil Hall closed Tuesday after “30 unforgettable years,” the bar and restaurant confirmed in a statement sent to MassLive Wednesday.
