An Everett man is accused of kidnapping and raping a woman in his home after she knocked at his door selling phone plans.
James Mugford, 67, allegedly held the woman, whom he did not know, against her will and threatened her with multiple weapons as he sexually assaulted her at his home on Fremont Ave., on July 23, according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
