SALEM — Authorities have identified the man whose body was recovered from the water near Central Wharf last week as 64-year-old Peter T. Bonacci of Salem.
The Office of Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker and Salem Police Chief Lucas J. Miller announced Wednesday that Bonacci was positively identified following the recovery of his body from the water near Derby Street at Central Wharf at approximately 9:40 a.m. on July 28. Officials said no foul play is suspected.
