A Massachusetts man who was convicted of shooting a person to death in broad daylight in front of a church has been granted parole.
Ezequiel Arroyo was found guilty of first-degree murder in 2002 and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, but on Sept. 4 the state’s parole board voted to release him after 24 years, according to parole documents.
