On Monday, February 23, 2026, officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) arrested Anders Hubbard, 24, of Braintree, and Elton Ernest, 23, of Somerville, for Tagging Property.
About 12:06 AM, police responded to the area of 197 W Second Street for a report of vandalism in progress. Boston Police Operations provided officers with a description of two possible suspects that were tagging a building across the street.
Upon arrival, officers observed two individuals walking down C Street towards W First. Due to the ongoing blizzard conditions and limited foot traffic at that time, officers stopped both individuals with Anders having paint splatter on his jacket.
