Friday will be another warm, wet day across Massachusetts before a cold front brings cooler conditions — and a possibility of snow — over the weekend.
Most of the state will wake to intermittent showers Friday morning, and scattered precipitation is expected to continue into the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Central Massachusetts could see thunderstorms from 12-2 p.m.
Rain will cease around 4 p.m., giving way to a balmy, overcast afternoon. Boston will reach a high temperature of 62 degrees, while Worcester and Springfield will be warmer at 70 degrees and 73 degrees, respectively.
