A Massachusetts man free on bail while he awaits trial on a murder charge was arrested by federal authorities on Thursday on drug and gun charges in connection with a wide-ranging investigation into gang activity in the eastern part of the state.
Myles King is one of seven defendants indicted by federal prosecutors on charges including conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances and aiding and abetting the distribution of 28 grams or more of cocaine base. Prosecutors are asking that King and the other defendants be detained pending trial.
A Norfolk Superior Court judge allowed King’s release on bail in June 2025 after his murder trial was delayed due to the late disclosure of hundreds of pages of evidence, including search warrants. His bail was set at $10,000 cash with conditions requiring home confinement and GPS monitoring…
