A premier steakhouse chain with locations around the world will shutter one of its Massachusetts restaurants very soon.
Smith & Wollensky in Burlington will permanently close Sunday, May 17 after just under three years, a spokesperson for the company confirmed to MassLive Wednesday.
“The closure follows a successful and strategic buyout of the restaurant’s remaining lease terms,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “The iconic premises are slated for conversion into a premier, high-end retail flagship, marking a new chapter for the local real estate landscape and an end to the building’s restaurant beginnings.”…
