Lawyers representing a Boston police officer charged with manslaughter for fatally shooting a man suspected of a carjacking in March filed several motions seeking information about the man’s criminal history, indicating that his crimes will be at the center of the officer’s defense.
In all, attorneys Christina Pujals Ronan and David Yannetti filed six motions seeking discovery in the case of Nicholas O’Malley. O’Malley shot and killed Stephenson King, 39, while responding to a call for a carjacking on the night of March 11.
