The forecast is wet today, but it’s a tricky one, nonetheless.
We’re hopeful for a soaking rain in all spots, but there are still some 11th hour doubts about exactly where that will set up.
Timing the rain, and how much we’ll get
Some guidance has shown most of the heavy rain falling offshore and up into the Seacoast/Maine while toning down on the amounts in Massachusetts. That’s not to say we come away empty-handed — it’s essentially the difference between getting “only” near an inch and up to two.
Either way you slice it, the rain will come in two parts. Off-and-on showers through late morning, then steadier rain into the afternoon and evening.
