BOSTON — More than six years after he was indicted for the first time, Alvin Campbell Jr. will face a jury this month as his trial on numerous rape charges gets underway.
Campbell, who is the brother of Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell, has been indicted three times in connection with the rapes and assaults of nine women over the course of three years from 2017 to 2019. Prosecutors say he posed as an Uber driver and picked up intoxicated women outside bars in downtown Boston, then assaulted them.
