BRIGHTON, Colo. — A bicyclist was killed late Tuesday after they were struck by a driver on Highway 85 in Brighton.
According to Brighton Police, the the crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Highway 85 and East 120th Avenue. Their preliminary investigation found that the bicyclist was crossing Highway 85 at the intersection against the red light and was struck by the driver of a northbound vehicle.
The bicyclist was taken to a hospital for treatment and died from their injuries. The driver, who was not hurt, remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, police said…
