Non-profit helping cool homes this summer with free A/C units for seniors

DENVER (KDVR) — As Colorado heads into summer, many people around the state will be looking for ways to keep their homes cool, but for some, it’s not possible. Bright Leaf Seniors in Denver is a non-profit that helps low-income and disabled seniors with various free services, and right now, they want to help get air conditioning to those in need.

Right now, they’re in their second year of giving out free portable air conditioning units, this time with help from the City of Denver.
