BOULDER, Colo. (KDVR) — Hundreds gathered on Pearl Street on Sunday for the 30th annual Boulder Jewish Festival, an event marked by both celebration and remembrance as the community reflected on the deadly terrorist attack that occurred one year ago.
Festival organizers said this year’s event focused on resilience, unity and Jewish culture while honoring the victims of the June 1, 2025, attack that left one woman dead and 12 others injured.

A candle-lighting ceremony and moment of silence were held in memory of Karen Diamond, an 82-year-old woman who later died from injuries sustained in the attack. Community members, religious leaders, elected officials and survivors gathered to pay tribute to Diamond and the others who were injured.
“The only way to respond to such hate and darkness is with love and light,” Rabbi Marc Soloway of Congregation Bonai Shalom told the crowd. “And that’s the message that she left for us and with us.”…
