The Superior Town Council unanimously rejected a proposal to annex a piece of land — or bring it into the town’s boundaries — and open it to multi-unit residential development amid resident concerns.
In its Monday night meeting, the council rejected the annexation of the property at 7494 Marshall along an edge of northwestern Superior. The proposal would would have absorbed the property into the town and designated its use as a site for multi-unit residential development, according to a council memo.
The annexation proposal came to the council June 8, and the discussion about it continued to Monday’s meeting amid resident concerns.
