The carnival rides are returning, the livestock barns are filling and five days of rodeos, live music, and food begin Wednesday as the Boulder County Fair opens its 157th year in Longmont.
The fair runs through Sunday at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. Admission and parking are free, although carnival rides and several arena events require tickets.
