After directions came from the districts’ boards, the North Metro Fire Rescue District could merge with the Mountain View Fire District.
In a news release, a North Metro Fire spokesperson said that the boards for both districts approved a memorandum of understanding that formally begins “a structured evaluation of potential unification.”
