The Town of Berthoud and other communities in Northern Colorado have enough stored water to make it through the summer months despite an unseasonably warm and dry winter.
“The good news is for the past few years, we’ve been able to store water, so we are above average for the amount of water we have for this time of year,” Jeff Stahla, public information officer for Northern Water, said. “For users in the city, they’ll have enough for all of their indoor uses. Each city and town will decide if and how to put restrictions (on outdoor uses).”
