15-Year-Old Unlicensed Driver Sends Dodge Durango Into Florida Home

A 15-year-old driver is facing multiple charges after Florida Highway Patrol says he lost control of a Dodge Durango at a high rate of speed and crashed into a home in St. Petersburg, Florida.

According to FHP, the teen was traveling northbound on South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue Tuesday night when he lost control of the SUV near Hall Street. The vehicle left the roadway, struck multiple traffic control devices and utility fixtures, and ultimately crashed into a residence.

While the crash caused significant damage, authorities said the residents were home at the time and were not injured. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
