SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Sarasota County took public comment Tuesday morning on the proposed Manasota Beach Road Extension Project at their budget meeting.
The proposed extension is a $15 million plan that neighbors say could worsen flooding in an already flood-prone area. Residents have been raising concerns since February, organizing under the name “Oppose Manasota Beach Road.”
