SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A former Sarasota police officer was arrested and terminated after an internal investigation found he misused surveillance technology, according to the department.
Cory Waiters, 38, was arrested Aug. 19 after investigators said they found enough evidence to substantiate a tip from USA Today reporter Jack Lemnus.
