Lakewood Ranch Medical Center has successfully completed its first cardiac ablation procedure, expanding the hospital’s advanced cardiac electrophysiology capabilities and providing patients in the region with a new treatment option for atrial fibrillation (AF), the most common type of heart rhythm disorder.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Jared Collins, cardiac electrophysiologist, and marks an important milestone in the continued growth of Lakewood Ranch Medical Center’s cardiovascular services.
