VENICE — The Sarasota County Commission unanimously approved moving forward with the construction of the middle segment of Lorraine Road Tuesday.
The future north-south road east of I-75 is “desperately needed” and “can’t happen soon enough,” Commission Chair Ron Cutsinger said.
