SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Sarasota County Fire Department crew is being recognized for its rapid response in helping a stroke patient receive life-saving treatment.
Firefighters from Station 16, near Twin Lakes Park, were honored Thursday morning for their role in getting the patient to HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital, where the patient received clot-busting medication just 19 minutes after arriving.
