VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) – A Venice man is facing a second-degree murder charge after deputies say he admitted to shooting a woman inside his home Wednesday night.
According to a Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office probable cause affidavit, 83-year-old Walter Lee Edgerton III called 911 around 8:35 p.m. on September 16 and said a woman had passed away.
